🚨 Asset Track Mini Troubleshooting Guide

Is your Asset Track Mini not reporting or connecting? Follow these steps to improve performance and restore connectivity.

📍 Check Placement

Good placement is critical for reliable GPS and network signal.

  • Best placement: Somewhere with a clear view of the sky.

  • Orientation: Recommend placing the device with the top (opposite the flanges) facing the sky.

  • Avoid: Enclosed metal areas like trunks, shipping containers, or undercarriages surrounded by metal.


🔄 Power Cycle the Device

If placement is good but the device still isn’t reporting, a power cycle can help.

Steps to Power Cycle:

  1. Unscrew the 4 screws on the device to open it.

  2. Locate the power switch inside.

  3. Toggle the switch to OFF and leave it off for 1 minute.

  4. Toggle the switch back to ON.

  5. Reassemble the device by securing the screws.
