📍 General Troubleshooting Steps
1.✅ Check Placement
If the tracker is installed in a vehicle parked inside a garage, the GPS signal may be obstructed.
Move the vehicle outdoors or to an open area to improve signal reception.
Also, consider where inside the vehicle the tracker is installed:
Best: Under the dashboard with minimal obstruction
Avoid: Deep under the seat, in the glove box, or surrounded by heavy metal structures, as these can weaken the GPS and cellular signals.
2. 🔋 Make Sure the Device Is Getting Power
Look for the red LED light when the tracker is plugged in — this confirms it’s receiving power.
If there’s no red LED:
Uninstall the wiring harness and reinstall it to ensure proper connection to the power source.
If available, use a volt meter to check the harness. It should be providing at least 12 volts.
If still no power, try installing the tracker in a different vehicle to rule out a wiring or outlet issue.
