๐Ÿ“ General Troubleshooting Steps

1.โœ… Check Placement

If the tracker is installed in a vehicle parked inside a garage, the GPS signal may be obstructed.

Move the vehicle outdoors or to an open area to improve signal reception.

Also, consider where inside the vehicle the tracker is installed:

  • Best: Under the dashboard with minimal obstruction

  • Avoid: Deep under the seat, in the glove box, or surrounded by heavy metal structures, as these can weaken the GPS and cellular signals.

2. ๐Ÿ”‹ Make Sure the Device Is Getting Power

  • Look for the red LED light when the tracker is plugged in โ€” this confirms itโ€™s receiving power.

If thereโ€™s no red LED:

  1. Uninstall the wiring harness and reinstall it to ensure proper connection to the power source.

  2. If available, use a volt meter to check the harness. It should be providing at least 12 volts.

  3. If still no power, try installing the tracker in a different vehicle to rule out a wiring or outlet issue.
