Viewing Your Tracker
After logging in to the Logistimatics App, follow these simple steps to view your tracker:
Choose the tracker with the corresponding serial number from the list and tap "View". If your tracking page shows "No Data," don't worry. This is normal and indicates that your device hasn't reported its location yet. To resolve this, take the following action:
Bring your tracker outside and go for a short drive.
Wait for the tracker to update its location, which should happen shortly.
Once the tracker reports its location, the tracking page will display an information flag with the tracker’s location.
Congratulations! Your AssetTrack Mini is now online and ready to use.

Satellite view: Offering a detailed view of the tracker's surroundings
Date range: Allowing you to filter location data by specific dates
🔋 Battery Life and Reporting Settings
The AssetTrack Mini offers configurable reporting intervals to optimize battery life:
Reporting Interval | Approximate Battery Life |
Every 24 hours | ~5 years |
Every 12 hours | ~2.5 years |
Every 6 hours | ~1.25 years |
Every 1 hour | ~6 months |
To change the reporting mode:
In the app, tap "Commands".
Select your preferred reporting interval.
Send the command and wait for confirmation.
💤 Note: The device enters sleep mode between reports to conserve battery. It won't respond to new commands until the next scheduled report.
🛠 AssetTrack Installation Guide (Quick + Easy)
Here’s how to properly install your AssetTrack device for the best signal and performance.
Here’s how to properly install your AssetTrack device for the best signal and performance.
1. ✅ Pick the Right Spot
Avoid placing it under multiple layers of metal.
For best GPS signal, place it somewhere with at least partial sky view.
A good rule: if your phone would struggle to get GPS there, so will the tracker.
2. 📐 Position Matters
Make sure the magnetic side is facing the asset (e.g., the underside of a trailer).
The opposite side (antenna side) should face outward or up toward the sky.
Avoid facing the antenna toward the ground.
3. 🧲 Mounting the Tracker
You’ve got options:
Magnets (built-in): Stick it directly to any metal surface.
Screws: Use the flange mounts (screws included). Just don’t overtighten.
Double-sided tape: For non-metal surfaces.
⚠️ Over-tightening screws may damage the seal and let moisture in.
4. 🛰 Check the Signal Before You Leave It
Once mounted, check the app to see if the tracker is reporting GPS locations.
If you only see WiFi or Cell locations, try moving it to a better spot.
Poor signal = faster battery drain and less accurate tracking.
5. 🏷 Name Your Tracker
Go into the app and search the tracker’s 6-digit serial number.
Tap it to rename the device to match the asset (e.g., “Trailer #3”).
6. 🔐 Using the Anti-Tamper Feature (Optional)
If enabled, make sure the tracker lies flat and the tamper sticker is removed before placing it.
This helps the sensor detect if the tracker is removed or tampered with.
💡 Tips for Optimal Use
Avoid fully enclosed metal areas—these interfere with GPS.
Use daily or hourly intervals for assets that don't move often.
Regularly check for battery status in the app to prevent unplanned downtime.
