This is a guide on enhancing your Logistimatics experience by adding authorized users to your account! Whether you're sharing access with family members or team members, this guide ensures that everyone you trust can keep an eye on what matters most.

Understanding Account Permissions

Before you start inviting users, it's essential to know the different access levels you can grant. Here's a breakdown:

  1. Administrator: Enjoy full access, including managing devices, inviting users, handling subscriptions, and updating payment methods.

  2. All Devices: Users can view all devices but can't manage user invitations.

  3. Specific Devices: These users have visibility over certain devices as specified by an Administrator.

Remember, permission settings are adjustable by an account admin only. To modify permissions, an admin must make the request.

How to Invite an Authorized User

  1. Access Your Account. Visit app.logistimatics.com and sign in with your email and password.

  2. Navigate to the Manage Tab. Click "Manage" at the top of the screen, then select "User Access."

  3. Send an Invite. Click "Invite User," enter their details, select their access level, and hit "Invite User" to send the invitation.

Note

The invitee will receive an email to set up their login credentials. Once completed, they'll gain the access you've assigned. The invitation token expires after 36 hours.

Key Reminders for Account Security

  1. Trust is Key. Only invite users who genuinely need access to your tracking information.

  2. Keep Credentials Private. Never share your login details.

  3. Strong Passwords Matter. Use unique passwords and encourage your new user to do the same.

  4. Permission Control. Grant only the necessary access levels to new users.

  5. Regular Checks. Periodically review who has access and adjust as needed to maintain security.

💡Tip

When assigning access, less is often more. Start new users with minimal necessary permissions to maintain security and privacy. This approach keeps things simple and secure, allowing for gradual access expansion as needed.
