How to Save Your Tracking History

This guide offers instructions for exporting and downloading your tracker's historical data to access tracking data whenever, wherever.

Keeping a history of your travels or the movements of your assets is easy with the Logistimatics tracking system. Whether you're looking to recall past movements or analyze patterns, saving your tracking data is a breeze. Follow along as we guide you through exporting or downloading your tracking history using both mobile and web apps.


Download Your Tracking History with the Mobile App

  1. Open the App: Log into the Logistimatics mobile app. Tap the Menu icon (three lines) in the top left corner.

  2. Find Reports: Choose 'Reports' from the menu.

  3. Create a New Report: Tap 'NEW' in the top right corner.

  4. Set Your Criteria: Pick the time frame and the tracker you want the report for, then hit 'Create Report' at the bottom.

  5. Access Your Report: Your new report will appear in the Reports list. Tap 'View' to open it.

  6. Review or Download: Check out the report right there or download it by tapping the download icon (downward arrow). You'll get an email from Logistimatics to download your file.


Download Your Tracking History Using a Browser

To utilize the full functionality of the web app's GPS tracking feature:

  1. Log In Online: Go to app.logistimatics.com and sign in.

  2. Head to Reports: Select 'Reports' from the menu.

  3. Create Your Report: Choose your tracker and the date range, then click 'Save Report'.

  4. View or Download: Once saved, click the tracker serial number to see the report.

  5. Download it as a PDF by clicking 'Download' at the top of the map. A prompt will appear; click 'Got it' to proceed. An email will be sent to you with a download link for your report.

Important Note

You also have the option of sharing a link to this report which anyone can view. To publicly view the report, turn on the "Public" option for the link to populate and this can be copied and shared with anyone.


💡Tip

Remember, live tracking data is only available for the last 90 days. Make it a habit to download your important tracking data within this period to ensure you never lose access to crucial information. For a more permanent record, generate and save reports regularly; they're stored indefinitely in your account as downloadable CSV files.
