To remain connected to the mobile network, the trackers require cellular data transmissions and pre-installed SIM cards. In this article, we will discuss why we require monthly or yearly billing for our tracker subscription plans, and the different options available to our customers.

What’s in the Tracker?

Our GPS trackers are equipped with cellular capabilities and function similarly to cell phones. They communicate with cell towers and GPS satellites and require SIM cards and cellular data transmissions to remain connected to a mobile network. Some devices even have their own phone numbers, which allows for monitoring the device's surroundings and sending SMS commands. To access this feature, users must enable voice time and text messaging as a pre-paid service.

Why is a Subscription required?

To use our GPS trackers, customers are required to pay a monthly subscription fee. This fee covers the cost of the data plan required for the device, similar to how cell phone plans operate. The terms of service state that there is a monthly or yearly recurring billing until explicitly canceled under the customer's Logistimatics account. Customers who purchase the tracker directly from can select their preferred subscription plan at the time of purchase.
