The AssetTrack Mini is a compact, battery-powered tracking device. Over time, the internal battery may need to be replaced. This article provides a step-by-step guide to safely replace the battery and restore the device to full operation.

Phillips head screwdriver (Size 0 or 00)
Flathead screwdriver or another flat-end prying tool
Replacement battery compatible with the AssetTrack Mini

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Open the Device
Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws on the back of the device.
Then, use a flathead tool to gently pry off the top cover.
2. Power Off and Access the Interior
Switch the internal power toggle to the OFF position.
Remove the two screws securing the interior plate, then lift it to reveal the circuit board.
3. Remove the Circuit Board
Unscrew the three screws holding the circuit board in place.
Carefully lift the board and disconnect the battery cable.
4. Remove the Old Battery
Use your flathead tool to gently pry the battery from the bottom of the casing.
⚠️ Be careful not to puncture or bend the battery—adhesive may be holding it in place.
5. Install the New Battery
Connect the new battery to the circuit board and carefully reposition both into the casing, ensuring screw holes align.
Reattach the three circuit board screws, the interior plate, and its two screws.
6. Power On and Close the Device
Switch the internal toggle back to the ON position.
Reattach the top cover using the four screws from Step 1.
